Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
  • Experience in mechanical infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Experience in large-scale mission critical facilities and their electrical/mechanical infrastructure.
  • Experience in estimation, mechanical design, operation and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.

You will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning (HVAC) and mechanical distribution systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, swiftly, and with high quality, which involves managing site-level mechanical engineering issues, ensuring compliance with design standards and local regulations, supporting quality assurance, and providing technical guidance to vendor teams.We are looking for an excellent communicator and collaborator who thrives on construction sites and has experience with mechanical systems, including within mission-critical facilities, heavy industrial, oil and gas, or semiconductor industries. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Provide technical support to data center services and operations teams to define mechanical system design requirements for multiple and simultaneous data center projects from inception through completion.
  • Collaborate with core teams to develop, implement, and manage the data center mechanical designs at site starting from basis of design to issued for construction data center services documents for new project build outs, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations.
  • Manage all site level mechanical system issues during the project execution phase. Identify and resolve issues with the cross-functional teams. Maintain all data center related mechanical system design requirements and interface documents. Manage and comply with the change control process.
  • Gain an understanding of the mechanical project requirements on-going at the site. Respond to site specific engineering Requests For Information (RFI) in coordination with the Engineer Of Record (EOR).
