Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Stick Pack Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 /hour
Full Time work available
Second Shift (03:30pm to 12:00pm)

Operate and monitor stick pack packaging equipment
Load materials into machines and ensure continuous operation
Verify product quality and packaging accuracy
Support production flow and collaborate with quality and shipping teams
Use basic math to confirm package counts and ensure accurate shipments

Stick Pack Operator Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience using a stick pack machine
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery
Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus
English Fluency required

Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
