- Develop and execute forward-looking financial strategy to support business transformation and scale revenue from $32M to $60M.
- Drive EBITDA margins to 25%+ through disciplined financial management, pricing optimization, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with President to align capital allocation with strategic priorities, including CapEx, automation, and Lean.
- Build data-driven FP&A framework to enable proactive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling tools.
- Monitor key metrics:
- Revenue Growth Rate
- EBITDA Margin
- Operating Expense Ratio (<25%)
- Working Capital Efficiency (DSO, DPO, Inventory Turns)
- Capex ROI
- Maintain strong liquidity to support operational growth, M&A, and facility investments.
- Optimize working capital via strategic inventory, receivables, and payables management.
- Lead CapEx planning to align with business scalability.
- Lead cost reduction and margin expansion with operations and supply chain.
- Optimize product and customer-level profitability through dynamic pricing.
- Identify and drive margin expansion in core verticals: medical, aerospace, automation.
- Lead financial due diligence and modeling for strategic acquisitions targeting $5M EBITDA.
- Ensure seamless post-merger financial integration: systems, reporting, and cost structures.
- Capture synergies across acquired platforms to drive value creation.
- Uphold financial integrity with strong controls, accurate reporting, and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and investor requirements.
- Lead enterprise risk management focused on market volatility, supply chain, and financial exposures.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- MBA with a focus on finance or accounting is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 5 years as a CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent in a manufacturing or industrial business.
- Proven experience scaling a mid-market company (preferably private equity-backed) to $50M+ in revenue.
- Deep expertise in FP&A, cost accounting, working capital management, and M&A execution and a demonstrated ability to build FP&A discipline, processes, and teams from the ground up.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing environments, ERP systems, and financial reporting standards.
- Continuous Improvement (CI) Expertise with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement in top-tier business systems.
- Track record of achieving measurable improvements in gross margin, operating expenses rationalization, and working capital reduction.
- Extensive experience managing multiple acquisitions from diligence through integration.
- Professional certifications like CPA or CFA are highly valued.
