Journeyman PlumberWhat this job involves:We are seeking a skilled and reliable plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, heating, and pipe fitting, with the ability to handle a wide range of repair and replacement tasks.What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Perform repair and replacement work on various plumbing systems, including:
  • High-pressure steam systems
  • Hot water heating systems
  • Drainage systems
  • Maintain and service culinary water systems
  • Test and repair backflow prevention devices
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure all work meets relevant codes and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years of experience in plumbing and related fields preferred
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including steam, hot water, and drainage
  • Familiarity with culinary water systems and backflow prevention devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Relevant certifications as required by local regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
