- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure the project scope and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Adheres to Tech Electronics project management process. Performs project management (resource scheduling, team building, work breakdown structures, project objectives, scope of work, job costing, implementation plans, sit downs, subcontractor management, project communications, project documentation) of all projects as designated.
- Develops and maintains relationships with our customers.
- Provides system design and technical support at the point of system installation.
- Oversees project quality assurance to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitors job status and controls job costs to ensure that each project is completed on-time and within stated budget.
- Responsible for suggesting methods to improve installations, processes, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
- Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner throughout the duration of the project.
- Implements day-to-day direction of all field activities and is responsible for all job site activities. Ensures timely and efficient execution of field work; Acts as the primary client contact for all project field activities.
- Conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard construction techniques.
- Communicates clearly and directly with all team members concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability.
- Understands industry regulations (both current and expected changes), and local and national codes relevant to all company services.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement.
- Associates Degree in electronics, project management or related technical field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of experience working as a project manager of communication or electronic systems is preferred
- Two years' experience using computer systems, including MS Office.
- Experience with fire alarms, security systems, Pro AV/sound is recommended
