- Performs loan data entry of customer and loan information on the IBS loan system for new consumer mortgage and consumer non-real estate consumer loans, as well as new and renewal commercial loans.
- Handles all calls and email inquiries to Loan Services from internal personnel, authorized third parties and bank customers, related to loan accounts including information research and error resolution requests.
- Makes adjustments and corrections to loan account records as needed while complying with regulations and laws related to loan servicing
- Assist with escrow functions including annual escrow analysis, monitoring hazard insurance payments and PMI removal.
- Assists in reviewing daily reports for the purpose of identification of adjustments and reconciliation of posting errors to loan accounts and special projects relating to the loan system.
- Responds to loan officer and authorized third party requests for loan payoff quotes and prepares written loan payoff letters in accordance with bank policy and procedure.
- Performs quality verification all new and renewal loans processed by other employees to confirm accuracy.
- May handle special projects relating to data entry on the loan system for other loan services functions such as monthly customer outreach letters, annual disclosures, report preparation or error resolution.
- Responsible for additional duties as assigned.
- Experience in banking, loan servicing or customer service required. Understanding of basic bank transactions and loan products preferred.
- Ability to gain working knowledge of Tri City National Bank’s policies and procedures, products and services.
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A relatively high degree of customer service orientation is needed for this position, including effective oral and written communication skills, sensitivity, judgement, and initiative.
- Ability to perform detailed, analytical work and make independent decisions with a high degree of accuracy.
