The Village of Lisle is seeking a professional Building & Grounds Maintenance Person. This position utilizes skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, engineering systems, equipment and grounds. Monitoring building system operations and performance, utilizing several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, roofing, heating and cooling are key components of this position. The Building & Grounds Maintenance Person will be comfortable working independently and will assist the Building Maintenance Manager with managing the inventory of supplies, tools and equipment and upholding current logs and files to maintain compliance and safety. Grounds-keeping tasks including snow and ice removal will be an essential function of this role.High school diploma required. Vocational/technical training in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.
