- Conducting high-level maintenance and repair on a variety of heavy-duty diesel engines, as well as hydraulic, electrical, and farm machinery systems.
- Analyzing complex mechanical problems with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and service documentation.
- Performing planned and unplanned repairs efficiently while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Using cranes and other specialized tools to aid repair and maintenance work.
- Maintaining open and informative communication with clients, including thorough service advisories and progress updates.
- Keeping precise records of maintenance and repair work.
- Guiding junior technicians and working with teams to improve service quality.
- Staying updated with industry innovations and applying this knowledge to optimize repair techniques.
- Completion of high school or possession of a GED.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
- Expert proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service guides.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and the ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic settings.
- Ability to supply personal work tools relevant to the job.
- Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- A valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle in this mobile role.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Physical capability to lift over 50 pounds and work in various environments.
- Certifications from ASE or training by specific manufacturers (e.g., CAT, Hyster, Cummins).
- Prowess in field services or mobile repair environments.
- Exceptional verbal communication and customer engagement skills.
- Verified experience in a customer-oriented capacity or leading projects on-site.
