- 4 fully equipped Operating Rooms
- Oversee all aspects of the outpatient surgery center’s operations, including clinical, administrative, and financial functions.
- Manage daily operations and ensure high-quality patient care
- Partner with the Medical Director and physicians to grow service lines
- Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management
- Provide strategic leadership to promote efficiency, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and revenue cycle processes, ensuring fiscal health and operational sustainability.
- Develop and control budgets, purchasing plans, and external contracts
- Drive performance metrics and participate in Monthly Ops Reviews with USPI HQ
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements, maintaining readiness for inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize workflows and support high-quality patient care.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Conduct reviews, manage productivity metrics, and lead recruiting efforts
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, infection control, and safety programs
- Serve on the Quality Improvement Committee and handle credentialing processes
- Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff, fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain effective vendor relationships and oversee purchasing to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years’ in outpatient surgical services with leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Required.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and quality management programs.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue cycle oversight.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
- Strong understanding of outpatient surgery operations and financial performance
- Proven experience in physician engagement and team development
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (MSN, MHA, MBA) a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Experience with orthopedics or multispecialty surgery centers preferred
