The Controls Field Engineer is responsible for the successful overall software design of projects, database creation, as well the implementation of the controls design and standards used in the programming and documentation of controls projects.Key Responsibilities:Job requires fieldwork with controllers and associated componentsHighly qualified controls technicians preferredWorking knowledge with BAS systems, Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plusComplete each assigned project focusing on customer satisfaction and specification compliance while maintaining budgetary guidelinesPartner with sales function to set parameters for equipment needs and project timelineCreate submittals, read and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets, controls and shop drawingsDocument and track project completion with as-builts and final program notation with all field changesAssemble Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.Utilize company and as required customer standard programs for designing graphic function blocks for assigned projectsTest project programs to ensure specified sequences of operation are met and performed accordingly to industry standardsInspect HVAC system including point-to-point, determining the proper operating ranges for field devices, as well as complete functional system checkoutsConduct graphics engineering functions which include creating equipment and floor plan graphics per project documentsSubmit material orders for project-required required materials to the purchasing group.Assist in the development of functional checkpoints lists for commissioning and additional documentation requirements to commission the system or work with the Commissioning AgentCompany vehicle providedIncentive compensation eligibleRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED1+ year of Bluebeam, Carrier i-Vu, Tridium or BACnet systems1+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Suite2+ years’ experience in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control3+ years’ experience in HVAC, Controls or Building AutomationPreferred Qualifications:BA/BS Engineering degreeKnowledge of computers and setup proceduresKnowledge of computer networking systemsExcellent written and verbal communications skills#LI-On-SiteRSRCARPay Range: $92,856 - $130,206 AnnuallyCarrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
