- Lead HVAC and refrigeration system design and project management from concept to completion.
- Spend ~70% of your time on job sites conducting field assessments, troubleshooting, and coordinating installations.
- Create permit-ready drawings, perform load calculations, and ensure compliance with Title 24, OSHA, and other codes.
- Collaborate with CAD drafters, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, efficient systems.
- Design systems including chillers, boilers, ventilation, and advanced cooling technologies.
- 5+ years of HVAC engineering experience in commercial or light industrial settings.
- Strong grasp of system design, heat load analysis, and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with California building codes and mechanical standards.
- CAD experience and ability to work with drafting teams.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Willingness to perform job walks and gather field data.
