
Embedded Software Engineer Intern

- Work under the direction of the Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Technical Director, and Lead Software Engineers on various Software Engineering activities
- May code using C/C++/C#/Java to complete coding assignments
- Source code management of new and/or modified code
- May use MATLAB and/or Simulink software in the performance of assignments
- Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments
- Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
- Complete assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble data for engineers
- May be required to help in research in a particular field
- Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details
- Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED, and working on their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, written and oral
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, git
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or a real time operating system
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
