- Oversee and provide leadership to the regional field team servicing Sephora, Ulta and Department Stores while ensuring channel strategies are successfully executed.
- Create and initiate best in class customer service within the regional field team with the objective of building brand love with retailer staff and customers.
- Work in conjunction with retailer sales leadership teams to create strategies to drive sales through product launches, visual merchandising, promotions, and event activity.
- Working with VP of Sales and peers on the establishment and execution of annual, monthly, and weekly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.
- Work to positively impact the performance of the Sales and Training Executives and Account Coordinators within the region. Work in partnership with Training Executives by implementing and managing field support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication tools.
- Create and maintain strong internal business relationships with all cross functional partners.
- Understand key trends in the marketplace, with a strong understanding of the consumer decision journey, to identify growth opportunities and new ideas to win at each retailer.
- Work closely with Merchant Team on managing stock and strategic channel launch initiatives specific to retailers.
- Ensure brand integrity is maintained in all locations.
- Strategize territory team opportunities to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Work closely with Directors to innovate and develop tools to help sales team sell competitively against other brands.
- Manage and meet all Budget guidelines.
- 10 years sales, field sales, brand, or merchant experience
- 5-10 years of experience managing people with the ability to effectively lead and develop results-oriented teams.
- Experience within the wholesale retail environment, specific to cosmetics.
- 1-2 years of experience in Managing Flag ship businesses.
- Ability to create and analyze business strategies.
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer to identify growth opportunities to expand market share.
- Ability to innovate and be strategic in all areas of the business.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time.
- Education: Bachelors' Degree preferred.
- Holds a valid driver's license
