Looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join one of Boston's leading General Contractors in their expanding Civil Division! Exciting time to join the business as they have work secured through 2029!
  • Create a schedule during project set up and sub-bidding that reflects that project strategy and is sufficient to estimate from and to purchase subcontractors.
  • Identifying, tracking, and procuring all necessary materials ensuring they arrive as needed and inline with the project schedule.
  • Working with Project Managers to resolve any lead-time problems or set-backs and keeping all appropriate parties in the loop regarding project implications.
  • Maintaining current financial reports to quickly identify potential and existing issues.
  • Developing and maintaining positive client and subcontractor relationships through established strong communication in regards to responsibilities, changes and issues as well as following up on requests in a timely manner.

  • 2-5+ years of construction experience (coming from a GC)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related preferred
  • Civil construction experience (sitework, utilities, roadwork, etc.)
  • Working understanding of construction related software (procore, bluebeam, MS Project, etc)
  • Strong written and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • 60+ years in business
  • Majority of projects in Downtown Boston
  • Markets served:healthcare, life science, academic, commercial & more!
  • Portfolio consists of new construction and renovation projects - $5M-$35M
