
Armed Security Operations Manager

- Work with relevant stakeholders to further develop the client’s current security program
- Assist with executive protection when requested by the client
- Conduct roving patrols at client locations when/where needed
- The ability to carry a handgun concealed in performance of daily duties
- Teach office-based active threat response (Run, Hide, Fight or similar) and other safety and security related topics to client employees
- Work event security where/when needed (situational internal and public facing events)
- Liaise with event security to build industry standard for risk mitigation protocols for executives and employees
- Assist with high-risk employee terminations when requested by the client
- Produce high-level reports, presentations, and documentation at the request of the client
- Other security-related duties as assigned by the client
- Assist with executive protection operations when needed
- Manage additional executive protection/security personnel
- Provide exceptional service by being personable, professional, proactive and responsive to the client
- Understanding and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and relationships with all stakeholders
- Establishing trust and confidence with all stakeholders
- Leading and demonstrating excellent team-ability (collaboration, communication, cooperation, etc.) in a cross-functional work environment
- Communicating (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner using assigned equipment (i.e., radio, cellular phone, computer, etc.) with all stakeholders
- Gathering and assessing information (sometimes under duress) while exercise sound judgement, logic and reasoning in the decision-making process, and escalating issues appropriately to appropriate stakeholders.

- Providing covert and overt protection to the designated clients, properties, and personnel depending on the situation and requirements of the client
- Reporting to the EPS management team on projects and deliverables
- Safeguarding the work site, personnel and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information
- Conducting all facets of protective duties
- Creating, implementing and updating security post orders and Standard Operating Procedures
- Continually assessing and improving team readiness and capabilities
- Following and enhancing the directed SOW
- Participating in operational sustainment training
- Conducting ongoing threats, risk, and vulnerability assessments
- Working directly as a liaison with local law enforcement to ensure business continuity when required
- Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information of Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services, the client and/or principal
- Providing and receiving constructive feedback for improvement of team operations
- Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards
- Operating company and/or client vehicles in a safe and legal manner
- Transporting the principal in designated vehicles in a safe, professional and efficient manner
- Traveling (domestically and internationally) in support of protective operations
- Conducting security advances and security operations plans for dissemination to stakeholders
- Being physical and mentally capable of utilizing legal and appropriate physical response options
- Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately, and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property
- Communicating with first responders and stakeholders to coordinate and provide support in the event of an emergency
- Providing appropriate medical treatment as necessary
- Conducting through investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with reports, pictures and witness statements
- Successfully completing annual and sustainment training requirements
- Demonstrating proficiency, proper care of and accountability of required equipment
- Providing regular and consistent communication regarding any issues with employment, payroll, benefits and paid time off (PTO) with appropriate stakeholders
- The ability to work irregular or extended hours with an ever-changing schedule. Typical schedules include overtime, nights, holidays and weekends on a regular basis
- Maintaining a professional and/or appropriate personal appearance
- Performing other duties as assigned by AUS Director or the client
- Position will be 35% Executive Protection/Driving/Event Security and 65% Security management, focused on managing the client’s security program
- Will build SOPs, best industry practices, advising on best security practices, active threat program build out among other duties
- The ability to legally carry a concealed handgun in the course of professional duties
- Must have former law enforcement, military and/or executive protection experience
- Must have received formal defensive driving training from a recognized private sector or government institution
- Must have a PA-LCTF (license to carry-F)
