- Provide remote and on-site technical support for customers and local Epiroc facilities by troubleshooting issues related to RCS, technology, and automation.
- Collaborate with ADS, URE, and SED capital equipment sales teams to promote sales and support technology initiatives.
- Supply parts information via suggested stocking guides and offer warranty support by evaluating and validating claims, addressing issues with the Product Company, and submitting service reports.
- Partner with Product Companies to innovate and optimize technology solutions, overseeing the setup and monitoring of new technology packages.
- Compile and analyze data from technology to enhance Epiroc's position, customizing solutions for customer-specific issues.
- Oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, requiring technical expertise and analytical problem-solving.
- Communicate service activities and opportunities to the Customer and Service Manager through detailed reports, forms, email, and telephone communication.
- Complete Epiroc automation training, RCS Basic and Advanced training, and participate in technology forums related to Epiroc ADS, URE, and SED machines.
- Minimum of a Certificate of Completion from a Technical or Trade School, three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintain required US Department of Labor, Mine, Safety & Health Administration Training Certificates, or agree to complete the necessary training program(s) to acquire the Training Certificates.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- If required to operate a commercial vehicle weighing more than 26,001 pounds, you must be able to meet all requirements necessary to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Department of Transportation (DOT) purposes.
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic from previous work experience.
- Uphold a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions with both customers and internal staff.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods as necessary, utilize hands for tactile tasks, extend arms and hands, and engage in verbal communication and listening.
- Extensive travel required, including national and some international travel.
