As the Director of Marketing for Hotel Viata, you are responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance the hotel's brand presence, drive revenue, and increase guest engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently while overseeing all aspects of marketing for the property.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning & Marketing Leadership
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with Hotel Viata’s brand identity, goals, and target audience.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources to drive maximum impact.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals and overall business objectives.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation across all marketing touchpoints—digital, print, and on-property assets.
- Lead the creation of marketing content including advertisements, social media posts, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Position Hotel Viata effectively within the competitive Austin market, emphasizing its unique offerings and luxury experience.
- Oversee the hotel’s digital marketing efforts, including website content, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and paid media.
- Drive direct bookings through optimized digital channels and booking engine strategies.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data insights to ensure optimal return on investment.
- Develop engaging social media strategies to grow the audience and increase brand awareness.
- Build partnerships with local influencers and media to boost visibility and community engagement.
- Lead public relations efforts including press release development, media outreach, and securing editorial coverage.
- Monitor and respond to online guest feedback, ensuring brand reputation is upheld across review platforms and social media.
- Collaborate with sales and operations to promote special events, group business, and seasonal campaigns.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to attract new guests and support key business periods.
- Track and report on marketing campaign performance, digital engagement, and overall ROI.
- Present findings to hotel leadership and adjust strategies based on analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field required; MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven success in digital marketing, brand management, and public relations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred.
- Ability to work on-site at Hotel Viata in Austin, TX and engage with cross-functional teams daily.
