  • Getting involved in early evaluation of lifetime requirements from customer. Break-them down to the different components and review lifetime data in acquisition in lock-step with the different design teams
  • Coordinate the different calculations (in Mex / Kys) for lifetime definition for EM, GBX, Inverter and other mechanical components
  • Align with the different testing teams and support creation of the Reliability Verification Plan
  • Support during ADVP and DVP alignments with profound knowledge of the main damage mechanisms - creating the backbone for our DVPs
  • Understanding of critical vehicle conditions (cornering, etc.)
  • The ability to define internal targets in situations where data from the customer is unavailable
Your QualificationsTechnical
  • Understanding of electrical vehicle powertrain architectures and components
  • Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer
  • Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems
  • Experience in functional safety of mechatronic systems
  • Experience in risk analysis and DFMEA
  • Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions
  • Windchill RV&S, Matlab, Creo (or other CAD), SAP & Microsoft Office
  • Preferred: Understanding of lifetime calculations and damage modes for driveline components
Interpersonal
  • Clear communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Self-motivated to achieve results with a continuous improvement approach
  • Ability to prioritize and make recommendations/decisions
Educational
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field
  • Preferred: Masters of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field
