- Shoot high-quality video and photography, ensuring proper lighting, sound, and framing.
- Edit video content ranging from narrative and testimonial videos to short-form, social-first clips.
- Retouch and enhance photography for use across digital and print platforms.
- Create light motion graphics to elevate video storytelling and brand presence.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce content aligned with brand strategy and campaign goals.
- Stay up to date on best practices, trends, and emerging tools in video production and social media content, including how to leverage AI to streamline and enhance pre-and-post-production.
- Lead on-site and on-location video shoots, including setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure high-quality production.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to capture compelling footage aligned with campaign goals and brand tone.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos optimized for multiple channels (e.g., website, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, email).
- Execute color correction, audio leveling, basic motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and logo animations to maintain professional quality.
- Develop simple 2D animations, kinetic typography, or animated explainer segments as needed for educational or promotional content.
- Incorporate brand guidelines into all animated elements to ensure consistency and visual appeal.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all video content aligns with campaign goals, brand messaging, and audience insights.
- Participate in creative ideation sessions to conceptualize new video formats and storytelling approaches (e.g., testimonials, patient journeys, expert tips, product spotlights).
- Adapt content to fit various platforms and ratios (16:9, 1:1, 9:16) and apply best practices for engagement across YouTube, Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, etc.
- Deliver versions optimized for web, mobile, and in-clinic use, ensuring ADA compliance and platform specifications are met.
- Support the scripting and storyboarding process, contributing to narrative flow, visual planning, and interview question development.
- Assist with creating shot lists and run-of-show plans to streamline production days.
- Capture high-quality photos during shoots for use in social media, web, and collateral when appropriate.
- Edit and deliver images that align with visual brand standards.
- Organize and archive footage, project files, and deliverables using internal systems.
- Maintain version control and ensure timely delivery of final assets.
- Ensure all video outputs reflect the brand’s aesthetic, tone, and compliance requirements (especially in regulated categories like aesthetics, dental, and wellness).
- Stay up-to-date on platform trends and compliance considerations to mitigate risk and enhance impact.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics—agency or in-house marketing experience preferred.
- Proven experience shooting and editing a range of video formats, including testimonials, short-form social content, promotional videos, and interviews.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling, technical proficiency, and platform-optimized video work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition); DaVinci Resolve a plus.
- Strong understanding of video production equipment (DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, mics, lights) and ability to manage small shoots independently.
- Familiarity with frame rates, codecs, resolution specs, and output settings for different channels and use cases.
- Experience with basic animation and motion graphics (titles, transitions, animated logos, lower thirds).
- Bonus: Photography, photo editing (Lightroom/Photoshop), or scripting/storyboarding capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Comfortable collaborating with clients, talent, and internal teams in a professional and personable manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and respond to feedback constructively.
- Enthusiastic learner with a pulse on social trends and evolving video best practices across platforms.
- Ability to travel locally for on-site video shoots; access to reliable transportation required.
- Comfortable working in medical/aesthetic environments (e.g., clinics, treatment rooms) and filming real clients/patients.
