- Define and implement a global distribution strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead the transformation and optimization of the global distribution network to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance agility.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support market expansion, new product launches, and customer experience initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of global distribution centers, logistics partners, and transportation networks.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics, automation, and best practices in supply chain management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global distribution team across multiple regions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement) and external partners (e.g., 3PLs, carriers).
- Manage vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Develop and manage the global distribution budget, including cost forecasting and performance tracking.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, and environmental factors.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of distribution operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in global distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep understanding of global logistics, transportation, warehousing, and trade compliance.
- Proven track record of leading global distribution networks and implementing strategic initiatives as well as successfully outsourcing and managing third-party distribution centers (3PLs) across multiple regions.
- Demonstrated success in aligning distribution strategies with broader business goals, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with supply chain systems and technologies (ERP, WMS, and analytics & logistics technology platforms).
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), automation, and sustainability practices in logistics and distribution environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a track record of influencing at the executive level.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global business environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- MB or advanced degree
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (e.g., at a desk or workstation).
- Constantly operates a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Must be able to occasionally move about the facility to access operational/distribution areas.
- Must be able to operate standard office and warehouse equipment (e.g., computer, forklift, pallet jack).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
- This role operates in both office and warehouse environments, with occasional exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Working hours will vary to support global organization
- Potential of up to 25% travel possible. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
