
Technical Analyst III - Financial Applications

- You will translate finance team requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- You will resolve root cause analysis, issue triage, and resolution in a production environment.
- You will work with API integrations, middleware, or ETL tools used to connect disparate systems.
- You will use your experience with application integration and data flow between finance systems and core platforms (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, or banking systems).
- You will write business and functional requirements for simple to complex projects.
- You will analyze, design, plan, test, and deploy complex systems software and programs.
- You will perform business process modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) for simple to complex projects.
- You will perform job scheduling responsibilities including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plans.
- You will develop simple to moderate batch scripts & stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications.
- You will employ IT governance policies, project architecture methodology and service oriented architecture (SOA) policies, and technology standards. Construct SOA web services and employ architectural contracts.
- You will mentor other analysts by providing oversight of projects or day to day support efforts.
- You will have experienced technical understanding of single application data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMA principles, tiered environments, Cloud environments, and well developed project management skills.
- You will translate finance team requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial applications or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar).
- Proven experience with application integration and data flow between finance systems and core platforms (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, or banking systems).
- Strong understanding of financial processes such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools for troubleshooting and reporting.
- Familiarity with API integrations, middleware, or ETL tools used to connect disparate systems.
- Experience overseeing system upgrades, patching, and testing cycles in collaboration with IT and finance stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit trails, and data integrity controls in financial systems.
- Experience with change control processes and working in environments with formal SDLC or Agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate finance team requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- Experience in root cause analysis, issue triage, and resolution in a production environment.
- Strong documentation skills for process flows, system configurations, and change management.
- Proficiency in SQL and Database Technologies: - Advanced skills in SQL for querying and managing data, along with experience in working with various database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: - Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, risk management, and business users.
