🔧 MEP Superintendent (Healthcare Projects | NYC-Based)Join a nationally respected builder known for delivering high-profile, technically complex projects.We’re hiring an experienced MEP Superintendent to support ongoing hospital construction projects in Brooklyn and Queens. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the full lifecycle of MEP systems, and is ready to make an impact on critical healthcare infrastructure.🔍 About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for coordinating all MEP-related construction activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You’ll work closely with trade supervisors, project managers, and field teams to ensure quality, safety, and schedule alignment across multiple phases of construction.🛠️ Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all MEP pre-construction and construction operations
  • Coordinate MEP and non-MEP contractors to ensure seamless integration
  • Schedule and sequence MEP field workforces and monitor manpower loading
  • Review coordination drawings and assess constructability
  • Support BIM coordination and clash detection
  • Track and inspect MEP installations for quality and compliance
  • Control jobsite expenditures for labor, equipment, and materials
  • Estimate MEP costs and support budget management
âś… Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent
  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Familiarity with construction phases and estimating practices
  • Experience on healthcare or hospital projects
  • OSHA Certification required
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Open to candidates with 10–20 years of experience or those transitioning from Superintendent to PM
