Job Title: Structural EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a multi-discipline engineering consultant firm located in Lakewood as a Structural Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and calculating wood-framed structures, producing designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.Responsibilities
  • Design and calculate wood-framed structures.
  • Produce designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.
  • Collaborate with the structural lead for project guidance and mentorship.
Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of structural design experience specifically in wood-framed structures as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
  • Proficiency in structural design and engineering.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and structural analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • Experience in design for steel and concrete structures is a plus.
Work EnvironmentWork directly under the structural lead in a small firm setting with a team of four. Enjoy a flexible work schedule with the option to work four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, and take Fridays off. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow towards a project manager position while learning under the current structural lead.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
