D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for an energetic, hardworking experienced Branch Manager to lead a dynamic team in our Omaha location. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact and help propel or business. The Branch Manager will be responsible for daily operations, safety, and customer relations, leading the efforts of branch staff and responsible for managing Profit & Loss statements and forecasting for the branch as well as supervising the Warehouse, Fleet, Supplies and multiple Service Technicians, and ensuring branch personnel provide exceptional customer service, engagement, and utilization for a profitable business center.Job Responsibilities· Assume responsibility for the business operations including staff deployment, warehouse management, revenue reporting and profit and loss for the branch.· Motivate workforce by exercising professionalism driven by the highest ethical standards.· Provide a work environment for employees dedicated to their safety and healthy work conditions.· Coach & train employees to achieve maximum productivity, through teambuilding and teamwork.· Improve customer relationships with both an emphasis in and focus on excellent customer service.· Accountable for reports and documents regarding Revenue, Inventory, Freight, Labor, and Controllable Expenses.· Deliver financial results (i.e., revenue, margin and return on capital employed, P&L accountability).· Develop & initiate strategies to increase market share (new products, existing and non-existing business).· Work closely with other departments or business units and directly with customers.· Support the Sales Team in soliciting customers and growing market share.· Responsible for overseeing all cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.· Review stock material replenishment and stock out purchases to forecast usage and possible inventory.· Review open purchase orders, unbilled deliveries, expedite material, and audit procurement cards.· Initiate and follow continuous change, as well as creating solutions for process design/re-design.· Oversee the direction of the branch staff to assure effective utilization of personnel, timely and objective performance evaluations, equitable salary structure and identifiable career paths for qualified interested candidates· Meet regularly with staff to communicate objectives and goals, branch operating status and employee input to improve branch performance so that high quality information flows in both directions.· Other tasks as requested by managementRequirements Skills & Abilities· Relevant business experience and knowledge (Service Staff Management, Fleet Management, Customer Need Prioritization, Schedule, Attendance and Utilization Management)· Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service· Excellent Communication skills (written and oral)· Customer Service Oriented· Good work ethic· Good organization and time management skills· Make and be responsible for decisions, while following established guidelines, policies, and procedures· Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service· Analytical skills, objectivity, and organizational skills· Work independently and as a member of a team· Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others· Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)· Follow all company proceduresEducation & Experience· High school diploma or GED required· Experience in recruiting, hiring, and managing performance of field service personnel including corrective action and terminations.· Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills· Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word).Physical Requirements· Ability to lift 50 lbs. when necessary, during the course of performing their necessary dutiesNote: The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
