Job Title: Software Integration & Test Engineer Job DescriptionThis position provides hands-on experience supporting the information technology team, offering critical maintenance for the software development and ancillary laboratory environments. These efforts support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications program, which serves as the integrating element of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).Responsibilities
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other IT resources.
  • Assist with IT troubleshooting issues and provide technical support as needed.
  • Engage in IT resources, cybersecurity, and data management activities.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Unix.
  • Experience with software development and application development.
  • Knowledge of data management, cybersecurity, and network administration.
  • Familiarity with programming languages including Java, MATLAB, and C++.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with R, HTML, and C++ software development is a plus.
Work EnvironmentThis role is 100% onsite in Springs, with some locations on Schriever and others off HW 83 (Interquest & Voyager). The work schedule offers flexibility with options for 4/10s or 9/80's, providing every Friday or every other Friday off.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
