A minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience is required. At least two years of experience in areas of occupational health, or case management demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities is required.Job Summary:Assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates all aspects of Workers' Compensation case management, designed for the individual staff member from the onset of injury or illness to a safe return to work. Provides case management of worker's compensation in accordance with federal and state law. Responsible for all aspects of OSHA recordkeeping. Acts as a resource/mentor for Worker's Compensation for Internal Occupational Health staff and other members of the healthcare team.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:A minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience is required. At least two years of experience in areas of occupational health, or case management demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Working knowledge of all equipment used in assessing and giving primary health care. Working knowledge of federal and state LOA and Wisconsin Worker's Compensation. Knowledge and/or experience of worksite safety regulations and requirements.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Case Manager Certification or Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or (COHN-S) is preferred.Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert HealthPay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $36.38- $56.39.
