
Associate HR Business Partner (Go-to-Market)

- Partner closely with managers and leaders across Marketing and Revenue to support performance, talent programs, and employee development.
- Facilitate core HR programs and processes (e.g., check-ups, annual reviews, engagement surveys), offering guidance and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Serve as a generalist across a range of HR responsibilities including onboarding, employee experience, internal communications, and people operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader People team to deliver high-quality, consistent programs and policies including support for Talent Programs.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, helping them navigate their experience at Cockroach Labs and connect to the right support systems.
- Support data hygiene, systems updates, and administrative activities as needed to keep our people processes running smoothly.
- Champion an inclusive and engaging culture, contributing to efforts that increase belonging, communication, and collaboration.
- Act as the primary liaison for Marketing HR needs aligning with Principal HRBP for broader GTM strategies.
- Work closely with the Principal GTM HRBP (the manager for this role) for alignment of GTM global HR and business initiatives.
- 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth company.
- Experience supporting client groups in an HRBP or generalist capacity.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take on a range of responsibilities, from administrative to strategic.
- A collaborative working style and strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- An understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices and a desire to learn additional geographies.
- High level of discernment, discretion and ability to apply an impartial but thoughtful lens to complex business and personnel situations.
