As a Radiology Technologist Care Guide, you'll ensure a seamless patient experience by managing everything from clerical and clinical tasks to occupational health duties, including imaging, registration, vitals, and drug screens. QualificationsFULLY LICENSED RAD TECH REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:- Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degreeLicense/Certifications:- Licensed with IEMA;- American Heart Assosciation (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire.- ARRt (R) registry eligible.- Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hireOther requirements/information:- May be required to float between clinics as needed.Other skills/knowledge:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Other skills/knowledge:- Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy.- Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.- Knowledge of medical terminology.- Knowledge of Epic.- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.- Knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion, good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude.Licensure/Certifications:- Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.- Current American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)LIMITED LICENSE RAD TECH REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:- High School Diploma/ GEDExperience:- 1 year healthcare experienceLicensure/ Certification:- Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT- American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)Other Skills/ Knowledge:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.- May be required to float between clinics as needed.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:- Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record.- Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.
