Job OverviewAs a Lead Technician / Programmer, you'll independently manage high-end AV and automation projects. From installation to system programming, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. This role offers room to grow into a project management or operational leadership role for those who show initiative and leadership.Responsibilities
  • Lead installations and programming for AV and smart home systems
  • Program systems including Control4, Savant, Lutron, and networking (Unifi, Araknis, Ruckus)
  • Ensure job site quality and completion without the need for oversight
  • Communicate clearly with clients to deliver and explain installed systems
  • Act as a site lead and mentor for junior team members
  • Report to or collaborate with Project Managers based on project scope
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in AV integration or smart home systems
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron Home, or advanced networking
  • Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently
  • Comfortable in client-facing roles and system delivery walkthroughs
