
Transportation Planner Intern – Spring 2026

- Assist in tendering outbound freight to various freight forwarders and coordinating shipment pickups
- Support communication between carriers, freight forwarders, and distribution centers to align transportation schedules
- Analyze freight forwarder performance (e.g., on-time pickups, delivery rates, cost-efficiency) and present improvement recommendations
- Conduct order compliance audits to ensure export orders meet regulatory standards and identify training or process gaps
- Review carrier communication logs to identify recurring issues or bottlenecks and develop standard response templates
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and transportation processes
- A current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Computer Science / Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of Power BI is preferred for data visualization and reporting
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and insights
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

- The anticipated start date for this internship is January 12, 2026, and the anticipated end date is May 15, 2026.
- This position requires you be available to work ~20 hours/week.
