Location: New York, NY (Regions 9 and 10)
Salary Range: 160 - 200k (Depends on level of experience)
NOTE: On-site as needed, may be remote when not visiting worksites.Key Responsibilities:Inspection Execution - Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed inspections of bridges and related structures, adhering to national and local guidelines (e.g., FHWA, AASHTO) while ensuring safety and efficiency on every project.
Reporting - Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, document deficiencies, and recommend repairs
Collaboration - Work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution
Innovation - Stay ahead of industry technologies, regulations, and methodologiesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
P.E Licence - Required (NY State)
5-10+ years of experience in bridge inspection or structural bridge evaluation
NBIS Certification (Strongly preferred)
NHI 130053 Bridge Inspection Training Certificate(s) (Required)
-Strong proficiency in inspection software/tools (BrIM, Bentley, etc.)
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Knowledge or experience working with state and local agencies is a plus but not required.
