A technical team supporting flight-related systems is seeking a versatile software engineer to enhance and adapt web-based tools used for navigation data. The ideal individual will bring a mix of programming fluency, infrastructure knowledge, and experience working within agile frameworks.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Help design and build modern solutions using a leading cloud provider’s servicesWrite, maintain, and troubleshoot code using several languages (object-oriented and scripting)Follow agile routines including daily syncs, backlog grooming, and planningSupport multiple hosting environments through testing, updates, and patchesCoordinate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders for implementation and troubleshootingTECHNICAL BACKGROUND SOUGHT:Familiarity with compute and storage tools offered by a major cloud platform (e.g., EC2, Lambda)Strong command of at least two back-end languages (like C# or Java) and scripting (such as Python or Shell)Comfortable writing documentation and using Git-based repositoriesExperience with JavaScript-based UI frameworks (preferably React) and API developmentAble to integrate data into dynamic visual dashboards or filterable interfacesUnderstanding of DevOps pipelines, version control, and testing strategiesWHO YOU ARE:You have, at minimum, an active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI, CI Poly preferred)You’ve worked with front-end or full-stack systems for 3+ yearsYou're adept at working with databases, CI/CD tools, and collaborative ticketing platformsYou’ve worked in cloud-hosted environments or with containerized servicesYou bring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and solid communication skillsYou hold a degree (or equivalent experience) and a current high-level clearance (TS/SCI)ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT HELP:Certifications in cloud development or operationsPrior work with aviation or DoD geospatial dataExperience with infrastructure-as-code or cloud config scriptingExposure to secure coding practices and authorization frameworksKnowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, or Swagger-style API design
