Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)The Revenue Cycle Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire physician billing process for Richmond Health Network. This role involves leading a team of revenue cycle professionals, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, optimizing revenue cycle management, and maintaining compliance with relevant healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include oversight of check/cash posting, accounts receivable, charge entry, edits processing, and customer service piloted with outsourced partner.Responsibilities
  • Billing Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the medical billing department. Manage and lead a team of revenue cycle specialists, providing guidance and support as needed. Implement and maintain effective billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Revenue Cycle Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the revenue cycle, from patient registration to claim submission and payment posting. Identify and address areas of improvement to maximize reimbursement and minimize billing errors.
  • Claims Processing: Ensure accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and government payers. Monitor claim denials, work on resolution, and collaborate with third party vendor to appeal denied claims as necessary.
  • Compliance: Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and billing guidelines. Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key billing metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with finance and executive teams to communicate financial performance related to revenue cycle activities.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor revenue cycle staff to ensure a high level of competency and professionalism. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to foster professional growth.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven and successful experience in back-end revenue cycle management, with a focus on physician practices and article 28 titled services.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing processes, coding, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Proficient in medical billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
