Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Sheet Metal Fabricator for a company based in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for setting up and operating special purpose machines and machining centers to fabricate metal parts.Pay Rate
$16/hr. plus depending on experienceSchedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 30 am to 3 00 pm.Sheet Metal Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using a variety of hand tools and machinery
- Assemble metal components into finished products or structure, ensuring precise alignment and secure fittings
- Perform quality checks to verify that fabricated components meet design specifications and industry standards
- Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, and welders to produce and modify sheet metal parts
- Prior metal fabrication preferred
- Basic math skills for measurement and calculations
- Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential
- Must pass criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen INCLUDING THC
