- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients navigating breast health services.
- Provide education, emotional support, and resources to patients and families throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
- Coordinate scheduling for imaging, biopsies, consultations, and surgical procedures.
- Facilitate communication between patients, referring physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Ensure timely follow-up on abnormal results and patient concerns.
- Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care protocols to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and breast program development.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification required; Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or Breast Health Navigator Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of breast health, oncology principles, and related diagnostic/treatment protocols.

- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology, women’s health, or breast care.
- Experience in patient navigation, care coordination, or case management strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with breast imaging modalities, biopsy procedures, and surgical coordination.
