
Component Operator

- Responsible for the manufacturing of capacitor components.
- Safely operate production machinery and equipment including press machines according to established procedures.
- Read and follow drawings, blueprints, specifications, etc.
- Load materials and ensure proper alignment and positioning prior to machining.
- Adjust parameters to meet product specifications.
- Perform in-process quality checks, including but not limited to measuring thickness, weight, and surface quality.
- Handle fragile materials with care to avoid contamination or damage.
- Clean and maintain machinery and work area to comply with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies to supervisors, Quality or Engineering.
- Work closely with Production Supervisor, technicians, operators, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure work is completed to quality standards, following written procedures, and prioritized based on customer demand.
- Use basic computer skills to navigate and input data into production systems to track progress, document results, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Operate measurement devices such as calipers and gauges to measure products and ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company and industry procedures and standards.

- High School Diploma - Required
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
- Possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on can-do attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems a plus
- Willing and able to learn other applications as needed.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and quotas
- Time management, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
