You’ll play a key role in analyzing data and supporting projects that impact global health.What you’ll be doing:Conduct qualitative and quantitative lab procedures under minimal supervision, following safety and GLP protocolsPrepare samples for analysis and accurately document experimental workflowsOperate and maintain laboratory instruments; assist with troubleshooting technical issuesAnalyze results and report findings to contribute to project meetings and deliverablesEnsure consistent compliance with SOPs and customer requirementsCollaborate with researchers and technical teams to meet performance objectivesContribute to continuous improvement of lab practices and data integritySupport additional duties as assigned in a fast-paced laboratory settingWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in applied/laboratory sciences with direct laboratory coursework0–2 years of direct laboratory experienceFamiliarity with general laboratory techniques such as pipetting, sample prep, and basic instrumentationOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures. * Responsible for routine sample preparation duties including extraction of biological samples in the wet laboratory using robotic liquid handlers
  • Use and maintenance of Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers and Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) systems. Calibration of equipment, tuning and compound optimization, integration of chromatographic peaks generated by LC-MS/MS
  • Prepares data for upload to Watson LIMS system and analyzes the data according to standard operating procedures. Uses good scientific judgement, adhering to regulatory guidelines and proactively initiating troubleshooting experiments in response to data anomalies. Communicates findings with cross functional stakeholders
