JOB DESCRIPTION: Inspect, analyze, and document new construction & re-roof projects from initial progress to completion with a focus to details & workmanship ensuring TORC delivers a product we are proud of and one that complies with CODE and Manufacturers requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Understand specifications for each product and application techniques for each job and familiarize yourself with job specific scope of work prior to inspection.
- Strong communication with all job superintendents and co-workers (commercial, tract homes, & Apartments).
- Must be present at all active job sites a minimum of once a week
- Collaborates with teams to ensure customer and manufactures quality requirements are met
- Spot-check and ensure quality repairs on reroofing division projects.
- Document each job from progress to completion (if possible) through photo management tool
- Respond to “Warranty” related projects (discrepancies and complaints) by customers and address as warranted
- Make minor repairs upon inspection if TORC is at fault and if QC can do so
- Communicating with General Superintendent and Field Operations Manager on reoccurring quality concerns.
- Document problems in writing and with photographs to communicate to TORC project manager
- Make sure photo management reports are processed and saved in required programs
- Make sure that all your appointments are scheduled in 360 with the assistance of our customer service department
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all company business.
- Attend jobsite meetings when/if needed.

- Communicate safety concerns to crew, superintendent, and Safety Manager immediately.
- Work with safety coordinator to ensure proper paperwork has been completed on all accidents/incidents.
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff, production, and safety meetings.
- Keep your assigned vehicle clean, maintained, insured, and properly licensed at all times.
- Help with Gas Detail when needed.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in an office environment with moderate temperature and noise levels approximately 20% of the time; the remaining 80 percent of duties require the employee to work in the field where temperatures can exceed 110 levels are and noise level is elevated.
Physical Demands
A certain degree of physical fitness is required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be able to walk for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
Must be able to carry and climb ladders as needed.
Must be able to endure outdoor elements such as extreme heat and cold that is common in the valley.Must be comfortable with heights.
Must be able to maintain balance while walking on sloped surfaces.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40+ hours per week with a rotating Saturday shift approximately once every three months (for additional pay).
Preferred Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED, college an advantage but not required.
