We are supporting a nationally recognized electrical design-build firm in their search for a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to high-performance commercial, industrial, and healthcare infrastructure projects. This role offers the chance to lead impactful design efforts while collaborating with field teams, designers, and estimators on some of the most complex builds in the country.Why Join This Team?100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid vacation & holidays401(k) with company match30-day paid sabbatical every 5 yearsFamily-focused culture and excellent work-life balanceStable employment with a company known for growth and innovationCompetitive salary and ongoing learning opportunitiesWhat You’ll Do:Perform arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies using SKM Power*ToolsDesign and specify electrical distribution systems including panelboards, switchgear, and transformersCreate fire alarm system layouts and riser diagrams per NFPA 72Develop structured cabling and telecom system designs per TIA/EIA and BICSI standardsCreate lighting designs using Agi32, Visual, or Dialux; ensure compliance with IES standardsCollaborate with BIM, CAD, and engineering teams to align on project executionPrepare technical specifications, load calculations, conductor sizing, OCPD sizing, and moreEnsure all electrical system designs meet NEC, client, and regulatory requirementsReview and approve design drawings and provide technical input for proposalsAssist with system cost estimating and feasibility studiesWho We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required)5–10 years of electrical engineering experience (commercial, industrial, or healthcare)MEP background strongly preferredProficiency with SKM Power*Tools, NEC, and relevant code applicationsExperience with lighting and fire alarm system design toolsStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across departmentsPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:Primarily a desk-based role with occasional job site visitsMust be able to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-based tasksAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyRequires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and visual acuityApply Your Engineering Skills to Nationally Recognized Projects
