
Mortgage Appraisal Assistant

- Track of third-party vendor services and monitor workflow status. Effectively communicates with appraisal review staff, lending groups, and other bank associates in troubleshooting various process delays.
- Upload and download files in the procurement system. Process and distribute completed reports and corresponding review reports to appropriate parties.
- Review consistency between completed appraisal reviews and internal quality control checklists. Request changes and escalate material discrepancies, where necessary.
- Assist management with process improvements, special projects and reporting as needs arise within the department.
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of general office experience, preferably in banking and/or commercial real estate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Real Estate.
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe
- Good verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills,
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail
- Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights.
