Job Title: Software EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data science. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in building high-performance applications and a strong understanding of web services architecture. This role requires an individual who is proficient in both backend and frontend technologies, with a preference for Python and React.js development.Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using Python and React.js.
  • Design and implement web services architecture.
  • Utilize AWS tools and technologies to enhance application performance.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Incorporate large language models and data science tools like Numpy and R to improve applications.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and React.
  • Experience in enterprise application development using Python and JavaScript.
  • Strong skills in building applications in React.js, Angular, and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in web services architecture, design, and development.
  • Database design experience, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working in AWS environments and utilizing AWS tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with large language models and data science tools like Numpy, R, and others is a plus.
  • Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $155000.00/yr.3 weeks PTO (4 weeks if needed), -40 hour balance of PTO available as well. 11 paid holidays, 5 of the 11 are floating that employees can work and bank as a PTO day down the road. 401k match up to 4% and vested immediately.Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in St. Louis,MO.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Sep 8, 2025.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
