Maintenance and review of patient medication profiles; reviewing and verifying physician medication orders and patient medical record; and checking of IV products. Interacting with healthcare professionals and providers to help promote safe medication use, prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications; provide clinical pharmacy services (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, clinical protocols per pharmacy and pharmacist interventions).UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers, and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles. You are required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health.Hourly Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTEQualificationsWe are seeking an exceptionally-skilled and compassionate pharmacist with the following qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
  • California Pharmacy license
  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency or at least a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncology
  • Recent clinical oncology experience (within 5 years)
  • Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred
  • Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred
  • EPIC/Beacon experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations
  • Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health
