- Oversee student led programming groups (e.g. Honors College Programming Council and Honors Interest Communities) and provide oversight for the Navigating the Nest mentorship program and assist with the selection and training of HNRS 1000:First Year Seminar Peer Instructors.
- Assist with Summer Orientations - coverage for day 1 information session and organization of day 2 Open House.
- Establish positive rapport with students; inviting them to Sage Hall for special events (e.g Ice Cream Social, Pancake Dinner), joining them for meetings and meals across campus, and attending events and programs planned by Honors College staff and student groups (e.g. Thesis Day, Honors College Programming Council and interest community programs).
- Administrative duties: Maintain data on student participation in Honors student life activities. Assess student needs and satisfaction with programming offerings.
- Faculty in Residence: Coordinate the Faculty in Residence hiring process in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Residence Life and assist Faculty in Residence with program planning and advertising.
- Honors Housing: Serve as the Honors College Liaison with Department of Housing and Residence Life. Coordinates with Housing and Orientation and Transition Programs on Honors College Early Move-In.
- Provides supervision to Student and Program Specialist.
- Identify and pursue appropriate professional development opportunities.
- General and professional expectations: Maintains a service mentality in all professional contacts; demonstrates, courteous, and cooperative attitude. Follows business communication chain of command; takes problems to source, follows appropriate chain of command, supportive of staff and other departments.
- Programming and Events: Implement a variety of programming opportunities for Honors College students and help with Honors College events (e.g. Medallion Ceremony, Scholars Day).
- Other duties as assigned. Assist with projects and new initiatives as they arise.
- Organize Honors College First Flight sessions for incoming Honors College students each fall semester.
