Disaster recovery for the DB2 system and application objects is also required. Maintain and create the processes and procedures by which tasks / duties are performed.**US Citizenship requirements- as this role supports services provided to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor, proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at time of hire.**Responsibilities
  • Providing DB2 Database design and Implementation
  • Performing SQL coding & tuning
  • Doing DB2 configuration and planning
  • Identifying problem determination & diagnosis
  • Providing Level 2 /3 support for all DB2 for zOS issues
  • Participating Disaster Recovery
  • Providing off-hour support, 7x24 coverage
Requirements
  • 5+ years minimum of z/OS DB2 DBA.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of DB2 for zOS functions and features.
  • Maintain application life cycle management & participation in application DB2 object design.
  • Administer DB2 Version 13 or 12 for DB2
  • Demonstrate experience with REXX programming skills
  • Have completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher educational attainment.
