ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include any/all of the following:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, door-to-door visits, email campaigns, and lead generation platforms.
  • Schedule and conduct on-site customer meetings to evaluate and promote maintenance service agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing and service departments.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and maintain regular contact with prospects to close deals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Achieve specific performance metrics and KPIs such as:
  • Number of cold calls per day/week
  • Number of new service agreements closed
  • Revenue generated from maintenance contracts
  • Customer retention and renewal rate for existing agreements
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine targeting strategies and generate leads.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) including activity tracking, contact notes, and proposal statuses.
  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, equipment technologies, energy efficiency programs, and competitor offerings.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's maintenance plans, equipment types, and service capabilities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including pricing guidelines, ethical sales practices, and safety standards.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer and community interactions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing systems, filing and records management systems, and other office procedures and terminology.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one setting to members of management and fellow employees.
  • Ability to compose professional correspondences
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards/requirements.
  • Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards/requirements.
  • Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out safety sensitive duties according to company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to perform simple cognitive tasks such as reasoning, planning, multitask, simple mathematics, and Teamwork (able to handle conflict or disagreements appropriately).
