Clippers and the new Intuit Dome, and the management of the Kia Forum.The OpportunityThe Finance team partners with the Ballmer organizations and affiliated entertainment entities in California to advance our philanthropic and business objectives.Reporting to the Controller, the Treasury Manager serves as an integral member of the Ballmer Enterprises team. This dynamic role requires collaboration with stakeholders across multiple entities and organizations in a fast-paced environment where priorities and challenges evolve daily.The ideal candidate for this role possesses highly developed financial, analytical, and quantitative skills, with the ability to understand complex organizational and operational contexts.The Treasury Manager will establish and monitor budgets, manage project milestones and risks, own responsibility for cash management, investments, and debt covenants, and will manage activities related to financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash management planning.This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of philanthropy and business, managing complex financial operations that support meaningful operational impact.Key Priorities and Responsibilities
  • Management of all cash-related activities, including maintaining bank accounts, performing daily cash reconciliations and supporting cash receipts and payment applications
  • Maintain strong communications with banks. Serve as the primary contact with commercial banks in cash management services, trust, custody, and with the business managers regarding day-to-day treasury needs.
  • Develop accurate cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision making, develop appropriate reporting and modelling tools for short- and long-term cash flow forecasting.
  • Review and approve all payments for 15+ entities out of 3 separate banks
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. Develop and execute investment strategies for surplus funds.
  • Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning
  • Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting
  • Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting the treasury function
  • Responsible for certain month-end balance sheet reconciliation reviews, as well as audit assistance for any treasury related requests
  • Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of treasury experience and cash management experience, including forecasting and risk management
  • Self-directed, effective communicator, who can manage time with competing priorities

  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft products
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
  • CTP or CPA certification
  • Experience with banking relationships, debt management, or investment oversight
  • Experience in large philanthropic, nonprofit, or other mission-driven organizations.
CompensationThe starting cash compensation range for the Treasury Manager role in Bellevue, WA includes an annual base salary hiring range of $146,900 to $183,600, plus a 10% annual performance bonus target opportunity.The annual base salary maximum for the role is $220,300. We aim to hire new employees within the hiring range to allow future compensation growth. Individual pay increases are assessed annually based on multiple factors such as demonstrated skill in the role and context, progress and performance against goals, and increased experience.Featured Benefits & Perks
