Seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join the Philadelphia Design Center (PDC) in Ridley Park, PA. Our team is focused on designing and supporting a wide range of Client products across the globe including Vertical Lift Programs, Commercial Aircraft, Fixed Wing Fighters, Satellites, Space Launch Systems, and many others.Primary Responsibilities:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Assists with analyses to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Assists with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Assists with analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Associate Level (Level 2): typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
- Experience utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and concepts.
- Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management software/tools.
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceAbility to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
