  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures across all shifts, and train team members on daily and weekly audit tasks
  • Develop and implement audits by SICS, including marketing promotions, revenue streams, and operational changes
  • Oversee timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and distribution of daily revenue reports; support month-end close processes
  • Monitor financial reporting accuracy, loan covenant compliance, and construction loan disbursement procedures
  • Manage regulatory reporting for the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, CNGC, and federal and state agencies, including tax filings and NIGC quarterly worksheets
  • Create and maintain audit review processes, develop new controls for emerging revenue sources, and ensure audit reports are prepared for internal and external stakeholders
More about you
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with previous casino experience is required; master's degree or CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience at a Director of Finance level or casino finance management experience, with at least 5 years of personnel supervisory experience required
  • Working knowledge of Title 31 and Bank Secrecy Act regulations, as well as US GAAP knowledge or technical accounting experience
  • Financial reporting and analytics experience, as well as implementation of internal controls
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with the ability to obtain a valid Catawba Gaming License
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of finance, cage, and count room processes
  • Working knowledge of ATI is preferred but not required
