- Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions and uptime across all related crafts.
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment, electronic industrial systems, PLCs, variable frequency drives, servo drives, power distribution, instrumentation, preventative maintenance, human machine interfaces, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Installation, alteration, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines and drive power distribution systems, instrumentation, hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems of plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and structures.
- Perform PLC maintenance issues Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and other mechanical issues.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specifications.
- Prepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with multiple technologies Arc welds in all positions for mechanical strength to alter or repair equipment parts and structural units such as railings and stairs; selects rod, regulates current and voltage as required.
- Log or use computerized work order system for repair and maintenance activities performed.
- Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Observes all prescribed safety practices.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems; runs new or extend existing power and lighting lines; makes connections from power sources to equipment; runs conduit and terminates wiring; installs and connects boxes, outlets, switches, and controls; replaces faulty components and wiring.
- Cuts, forms, threads, fits, and installs piping for air, water, steam, oil, nitrogen, gas, and other lines; maintain plant plumbing, heating, cooling, and related facilities, and equipment.
- Uses gas torch to cut structural stock for fabrication of hoods, guards, and similar items.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as drill press, engine lathe, milling machine to alter or construct replacement parts.
- Detects and reports faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to proper supervision
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies
- Ability to work any and/or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime if applicable
- Basic computer skills
- Must provide basic tools
- Previous Industrial Manufacturing experience basic knowledge and understanding of machine technology, construction, operation of heavy industrial machinery and power/control devices.
- Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards.
