- Increase visibility through open communication with multiple company segments, each market, and support the Executive Vice President, Director of Marketing, Project Managers/Sales Team Members, and other staff as needed
- Proactively seek, identify and pursue new business opportunities relevant to our scopes of work
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective strategies for business expansion
- Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with co-workers, existing customers, and potential clients
- Prepare monthly business development plans and attend monthly meetings with Director of Marketing to discuss plans, tasks, progress, various initiatives, and ideas critical to the success and growth of the company, and maintain motivation and teamwork
- Help research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives
- Pursue leads and move them through the sales process, and qualify leads from business development campaigns
- Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and enhance business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through ongoing communication, office/job site visits, business lunches and office lunches
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals
- Collaborate with the sales and operations team as needed to coordinate employee engagement and retention strategies and internal marketing campaigns, including but not limited to job site lunches, employee gatherings, etc.
- Practice excellent planning and organizational skills, including time management
